During your 15-month traineeship, you will gain a comprehensive insight into the exciting and challenging activities within the area of Instrument Models & Valuations and quickly take on independent tasks. You will be in contact with internal and external customers and explain valuations of positions held by the clients to support their internal risk and balance sheet reporting. In your various stations within risk controlling and related areas, you will experience to work in our agile teams with the aim to further develop our internal platform. Taking your own skills and interests into account, you decide together with your manager which divisions you want to get to know better during your rotations.
As part of our selected Graduate Class of 2022, you build up your own network within the bank from day one. With your manager and an additional supervisor at management level, you’ll have two experienced mentors to guide you through the entire program.
In a nutshell, joining us will enable you to gain a deep understanding of our businesses and financial markets but will also give you enough flexibility to learn more about other Commerzbank functions outside of Group Risk Management.

You are part of a dedicated team and bring fresh ideas to the team, with room for initiative right from the beginning You will be the first point of contact for clients to explain the valuation of their positions held. You analyze current developments of the application used and work together with the agile delivery organization to improve and automate the process with a stable IT solution. You will be in the position to build up your own strong knowledge of all investment products from a valuation, risk and methodology view.
