As Senior Software Architect Naval C2 Systems (m/f/d) you will work in close coordination with our customers on the specification, implementation and introduction of military command systems (in particular the German Navy’s FüWES). You will perform the following activities, among others:
You analyze and evaluate the requirements and regulations of military customers for highly complex military systems, especially in the naval environment. In close cooperation with the customer, you specify new management systems as well as changes and additions to existing systems, including the development of business cases. You carry out the analysis of existing implementations and customer requirements. You communicate with the customer on a professional and technical level and conduct consultations with the customer. You support the system developers of the Defense Systems team with your military expertise in the implementation of the specified systems and in the system integration. You support the testers of the Defense Systems team in developing test cases based on military know-how. They coach the software architects of the T-Systems IFS business unit. If required, you will also take on tasks in the areas of implementation, testing and (partial) project management. You will be involved in the evaluation of partners and new technologies. You will also support sales and management in preparing offers. You will work on the development of new topics and the overarching strategy. For your new job as Senior Software Architect Naval C2 Systems (m/f/d), you will have the following experience and skills in addition to a degree in (business) engineering or comparable professional training with many years of professional experience:
You have at least 5 years of professional experience in software development / architecture in the area of software development, integration, migration and implementation projects for public sector clients and especially in the military sector. You have a well-founded military-tactical understanding of the task and Function and ideally technical realization of tactical military command systems, especially in the Navy You have good knowledge of the basic methods of a structured software development process From the technologies, methods and tools used in the software development process, you can ideally cover some of the following points: Good methodological knowledge and practical experience in requirements engineering and UML modeling and development Experience in the development of technical solution concepts and IT architectures Experience in the use of modern software modeling, development ngs and configuration tools Experience in using 3G programming languages and tools (especially C, C++; Java and Ada are also welcome) Knowledge of the use of procedural models such as V-Modell XT Experience in systematic software testing Your way of working is characterized by a structured and solution-oriented approach and creativity. You also have very good analysis and design skills for complex technical and military-tactical relationships You can independently communicate and present the results you have achieved to customers You have knowledge of technical advice You are willing to undergo a security check (also involving your life partner , if applicable) within the meaning of the Security Check Act. You are willing to travel for assignments to customers or changing project locations
