Chapter Lead


Role purpose:
• to manage the performance and development of the squad members belonging to the chapter and champion functional excellence
• to own, lead and drive the relevant experts / specialists sitting across squads
• to participate as an expert, solving complex problems related to area of ​​expertise on an ad-hoc basis within the tribe
• to act as a leader, rather than line manager, maturing the organization readiness, as opposed to controlling the work
• to promote innovation and continuous improvement together with scalable and sustainable development within their practice area

Key responsibilities:
• Leads, coaches and develops the abilities and skills of the members of the chapter, increasing their productivity in the delivery of value for clients
• Holds responsibility for the performance evaluation of the members of the chapter regarding their personal development and establishes regular feedback sessions
• Works with the Tribe Lead to provide workforce planning, to include recruitment and development
• Acts as a mentor for the Specialist resources within their practice, helping them grow in expertise and experience new areas
• Defines processes of interaction, transfer of knowledge and tool sharing among the members of the chapter

What we are looking for:
• Professional experience in IT, preferably in IT operations, IT consulting or IT architecture for complex system landscapes
• Experience in team and people management, preferably in agile environments
• Experience in negotiations and dealing with customers and suppliers as well as management of external vendors and offshore teams
• Analytical, solution and customer-oriented thinking
• Process optimization on technological and organizational level
• Agile methodologies (e.g. SAFe, Scrum…)
